Wired - ‘Your life in the future’ - UK launch cover 2009

GMJ were commisioned to research and create a cover image for the launch of UK Wired Magazine. The image was also used on billboard advertising hoardings around London.

Museum of London Exhibitions 2010

In October 2010, an exhibition of ‘Postcards From The Future’ was launched at the Museum of London. Fourteen views were displayed as large scale back-lit transparencies, each pristine image defined by an astonishing degree of clarity and definition.

National Theatre 2010-2011

Straight from its successful run at the Museum of London, ‘Postcards From The Future’ opened at National Theatre on March 14 where it was exhibited until May 2011.

Parliament Square Water Crisis Centre - 2024

In 2014, WIRED magazine asked some of their ‘favourite writers, artists and photographers to convey 2024 news in ‘the format we used to love.’

GMJ’s image ‘Parliament Square Water Crisis Centre’ continues their interest in exploring issues of sustainability and the possible effects of man-made climate change.

‘Following seven years of extreme and changeable weather patterns a high pressure system settles over the North Atlantic which results in the southern UK suffering three consecutive years of winter drought. Clean water supplies are affected with millions of households rationed.’

Frack Off! Buckingham Palace

Created in 2014 this image challenges the sustainability of widespread shale gas fracking across the UK by showing the impact and damage this might have on the heart of the british establishment.

RIO+20+20 & World Cities

The 'Postcards From The Future' project continued in 202 with the release of ‘RIO+20+20’ a provocative image about sustainability of the world's oceans following news of a rise in algae blooms in coastal areas close to intesive farming.
